Hello everyone here. This is the first post of a series on the study related insights I’ve acquired over the years. I’ll be posting two study-related hacks/tips/tricks per week. But before I start my series on study-related tips I want to make it clear that there is no single secret strategy to study smartly. You are unique and you may have a different way of studying that works fine for you.
So why should you pay attention to what I am saying?
Because I can help.
How?
Let’s look at it this way. An effective way to study is a means to satisfy your hunger for knowledge.
Helping you find the right tools to feed your brain |
Now just like actual hunger for food, you can fill your stomach in a lot of ways. But I tell you that filling it with whole grains is better than filling it with junk food. Or that spoon is suitable for eating rice and a fork is suitable for eating fruits. Now it’s your wish to use a fork or a spoon for eating bananas or maybe you’ll just use your hands. But I made my effort to help.
This series is a similar effort to help students (and their parents) to feed their brain in an effective way.
Next, there are some things which are definitely wrong and you should not do and some which are required and you should do. Figuring this completely on your own is a difficult task. But it’s easy if you have checkpoints or signs that you can look out for. It’s the same as signboards on a road. On a turn, you see the board. If you were going to Delhi you went straight and if you were going to Jaipur, you took the right turn. My job is to place the signboard. It’ll be you who’ll decide where you want to go.
Providing you with the best tips and options |
The points I’ll tell you in this series are not the ultimate truths. These come from my and my teachers’ experiences. Out of these, there are some which even I had not followed during my school days but I figured that these were the better alternatives of what I did. After all, the whole point of this series is not to brag about my positives but to provide insights from my rights and wrongs and help you excel in your academic journey.
